Hillfort & Woodlands of Bury Ditches

This route along the welsh border where King Offa met his match are the ancient hill forts & woodlands of Bury Ditches, with spectacular views, glimpses of history, wildlife & archaeology.

A moderate six mile walk following the Shropshire way to bury ditches. Walk starts and finishes from Clun memorial hall.

Difficulty: Moderate

Number of Stiles: 4

Optional visit to The White Horse Inn, Clun, SY7 8JA after the walk.

Meet up on the Car Park at The Red Lion Pub TF9 1JP and then travel to Clun from Market Drayton, that way if anyone needs a lift those with cars may be able to assist?
