About the event
About the event Join us on this 5 mile walk over Brown Clee. This walk take you to the highest hill in Shropshire on paths used since before the Iron Age. There are no hills higher to the east until you reach the Urals in Russia. It commands some outstanding views across to its sister and also across to the Long Mynd. This walk has a distinct East/West divide from the summit. To the West is open heather moor and barren wilderness, the East is rural idyll, woods and country estate land.

Total Ascent: 839 feet
Meet up on the Car Park at The Red Lion Pub TF9 1JP and then travel to the start point from Market Drayton, that way if anyone needs a lift those with cars may be able to assist? If you live more locally to the start point you can travel directly yourself but YOU MUST make us aware via an email message!
