The Shropshire Lake District

Join Peter and Linda on this 7.5 mile moderate watery wander exploring Shropshire’s Lake District. The Llangollen Canal links up three of Ellesmere’s largest meres. Don’t forget your torch as we pass through an 80 metre tunnel!

Join us afterwards for a drink at the Sun Inn, Welshampton, on the A495 on the way home. (Optional)

Ascent: Less than 500 feet of total climbing

Walk begins promptly at 10am

Meet up on the Car Park at The Red Lion Pub TF9 1JP and then travel to the start point from Market Drayton, that way if anyone needs a lift those with cars may be able to assist?
