We begin in the Cheshire hamlet of Lower Peover with its cobbled street and cluster of houses. The Bells of Peover pub is adjacent to St Oswald's Church, a half-timbered historic building of worship. We follow the meandering Peover Eye with views of the Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank, crossing woodland to the magnificent Peover Hall.
