Moreton Corbet Castle

Join us as we venture on a lovely 4 mile walk from Shawbury to Stanton upon heath visiting the picturesque remains of an 11th Century castle and an Elizabethan mansion house along the route.

Difficulty: Easy

Optional visit to the Stanton Arms Pub after the Walk.

Meet up on the Car Park at The Swimming Baths and then travel to Shawbury from Market Drayton, that way if anyone needs a lift those with cars may be able to assist? If you live more locally to Frodsham you can travel direct to the start point, but YOU MUST make us aware via a email message!

Important note* There is very limited car parking on this walk, so please car share from the swimming baths at 9.30am, to avoid having insufficient parking for everyone on arrival at the castle.
