About the event
Join Phil and Alan on a local walk exploring the pine woodlands of the Burntwood, Hookgate and the site of the former Cheshire Joint Sanatorium. The walk takes us along forestry tracks, footpaths and minor roads and with some beautiful views, few small ascents which are short and not too steep, so a really nice walk for everyone to enjoy.
Optional after the walk: Join Alan & Phil for drinks and a good old natter in the Loggerheads Pub.

Distance: 6.5 miles
Total Ascent: 660ft
Meet up on the Car Park at The Swimming Baths, Market Drayton and then travel to the start point, that way if anyone needs a lift those with cars may be able to assist? If you live more locally to the start point you can travel direct to the start point, but YOU MUST make us aware beforehand!
